UCLA vs. Indiana: Live updates, start time and how to watch

After Indiana’s kickoff, UCLA started on the 35-yard line.

Ethan Garbers completed a four-yard pass to Titus Mokiao-Atimalala. His next pass was incomplete before he found Logan Loya for a six-yard pass. Mokiao-Atimalala ran 12 yards, but a holding penalty reduced the gain to two yards.

On first and 18, Garbers outran Moliki Matavao for nine yards. Garbers then scrambled for three yards and another five yards. On fourth and 1, TJ Harden ran for two yards.

UCLA failed to score on its fourth attempt in the season opener, but the deficit obviously puts more pressure on the Bruins to make up the deficit immediately.

Harden ran another three yards before Garbers threw an incomplete pass. On third-and-7, Garbers’ long pass through the middle sailed wide of the target and was incomplete. Indiana was penalized for roughing the passer after hitting Garbers after he released the ball, giving the Bruins 15 yards.

On the first down at Indiana’s 26-yard line, Keegan Jones ran for four yards. Garbers was then sacked for a loss of nine yards.

On third and 15, Garbers threw a pass to Matavo, who gained eight yards and brought the ball to Indiana’s 23-yard line.

Mateen Bhaghani then missed a 41-yard field goal wide left as time expired in the first quarter. The only win for UCLA was keeping Indiana’s potent offense off the field for the final 7:28 of the first quarter.

Indiana 14, UCLA 0, end of the first quarter
