Weiss charged Biden with three felonies and six misdemeanors related to $1.4 million in owed taxes that have since been paid. Weiss alleged there was a “four-year conspiracy” in which the president’s son failed to pay his federal income taxes while also filing false tax returns.

In the indictment, Weiss alleges that Biden “participated in a four-year conspiracy to fail to pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes for tax years 2016 through 2019, from about January 2017 to about October 15, 2020, and to evade tax assessment for the 2018 tax year by filing false tax returns in about February 2020.”

Weiss said that to “further this plan,” Biden “subverted the payroll and tax withholding process of his own company, Owasco, PC, by siphoning millions” from the company “outside of the payroll and tax withholding process for which it was designed.”
