ESPN’s “College GameDay” breaks a 10-year winning streak with its site in Week 3.
GameDay heads to Columbia for South Carolina’s game against No. 17 LSU. The Gamecocks look to improve their record to 3-0 in SEC play with a 2-0 start after dominating Kentucky 31-6 in Week 2.

South Carolina’s defense was outstanding against the Wildcats, holding the SEC opponent to 183 total yards and forcing two turnovers. The Gamecocks’ offense was just good enough, too: New starting quarterback LaNorris Sellers completed 11 of 15 passes for 159 yards and scored two touchdowns with one interception.
South Carolina’s strong defense will have to adapt its strategy to Tigers quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, who has 610 passing yards and eight touchdowns with two interceptions in his first two appearances this season.

“GameDay” travels to Columbia on Saturday for South Carolina’s game against No. 17 LSU.
It’s the first time ESPN’s pregame show has come to Columbia since 2014. That year, No. 13-ranked South Carolina hosted Missouri, losing 21-20. Country singer Kenny Chesney was the show’s featured guest picker.
South Carolina had already appeared on GameDay six times before next Saturday, most recently in a loss to North Carolina in last year’s season opener.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, September 14th at 12:00 p.m. ET.
