See how the couple reacts when they realize they are wearing the same wedding dress

They both said yes to the dress.

Many couples burst into tears when they see their first sight on their wedding day, but brides McKenzie Ball and Erin Ball from Tennessee couldn’t stop laughing.

McKenzie, 27, and Erin, 29, had selected nearly identical lace mermaid dresses from different stores in different states.

In a video shot by Felipe and Jessica Vera of FJOriginals, Erin’s jaw drops when she sees what McKenzie wears to her wedding ceremony.

“That’s my dress! You did it again!?” Erin shouts as they both burst into laughter. Erin is referring to how she and her wife accidentally became twins at their bridal shower.

Erin begins to tell TODAY.com that she was “shocked” by the turn of events, but quickly takes it back. Surprised, yes, but not shocked.

“Honestly, this happens to us all the time. When we meet up with friends, we have to somehow coordinate and we’re both too stubborn to change,” says Erin.

McKenzie and Erin Ball married in June 2024.

“We have the same taste, so we share clothes,” McKenzie tells TODAY.com.

Note that Erin and McKenzie both wore their hair half up, half down and accessorized with pearl necklaces.

“It wasn’t planned,” says McKenzie. “But it was our nail polish. We did it together.”

The Balls, who met online in 2018, agree that matching on their wedding day is a sign that they are meant for each other. And the internet agrees that it’s a good omen.

After Erin shared her first look on TikTok, the clip went viral with over 7 million views and thousands of comments.

“This is the most soulmate experience I have ever experienced,” one person wrote in the comments.

Another added: “If this doesn’t work, what then?”

Erin and McKenzie agree on everything – not just fashion.

“We were always on the same wavelength,” says Erin.
