The US women’s basketball team is in the semifinals.

This year’s team is captained by five-time Olympic gold medalist Diana Taurasi, who is competing in her sixth Olympic Games and was left out of the starting lineup for the win over Nigeria. The team, which consists entirely of WNBA players, also includes two stars from the New York Liberty, Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu, and two key players from the Las Vegas Aces, Jackie Young and Kelsey Plum.
