Bears defensive end D’Andre Swift led the team to a 24-18 victory over the Rams

Chicago is back in the win column.

After consecutive losses, the Bears prevailed on Sunday with a 24:18 win against the Rams.

Chicago allowed yards to the offense led by Matthew Stafford. But the club’s defense made crucial plays in the red zone and managed two turnovers to secure the victory.

Edge rusher Montez Sweat sacked Stafford in the second quarter, leading to a 1-yard Roschon Johnson touchdown that gave the Bears a 7-6 lead.

However, at the end of the contest, the Bears defense managed to seal the ball under heavy pressure, which led to a Stafford interception by Jaquan Brisker. The pick effectively ended the game as the Rams had no timeouts and only 56 seconds remained in the game.

On the other hand, the Rams had a lot of trouble stopping D’Andre Swift. While he entered the contest having rushed for just 68 yards this season, he gained 93 yards on 16 carries with a touchdown. And he caught all seven of his targets for 72 yards, helping the club win.

Swift’s 36-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave Chicago a two-possession lead of 24-15.

Quarterback Caleb Williams finished 17 of 23 for 157 yards with one touchdown – a 9-yard pass to DJ Moore late in the third quarter.

Stafford was 20 of 29 passing for 224 yards with one interception and a lost fumble. Kyren Williams rushed for 94 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown. Tutu Atwell led the way with 82 yards on four catches.

At 2-2, the Bears will now stay at home and host the Panthers in Week 5.

The 1-3 Rams will face the Packers at home.
