The TikTok star is raising fears among fans about posting a cryptic mourning video with her husband

A TikTok star sent fans into a panic after uploading a cryptic video featuring her husband that alluded to a tragic event.

In one clip, influencer Yolanda Diaz and her husband Zach Nichols were seen sitting outdoors in a glamorous setting, chatting and admiring the mountain views.

But it was the disturbing caption that caused curious fans to worry about her.

“We would have ever gotten up to leave if we had known what was coming,” the text on the video’s screen read.

An accompanying caption added: “Today is terrible, that’s all I’ve got.”

Suggesting she was unwell, more than 1,300 alarmed followers sent their congratulations, with some hoping for a little more information to reassure them.

“For the sake of our family, I won’t elaborate, although I 100% understand the curiosity. “We are just heartbroken right now, today was terrible and it’s not possible to film anything resembling normality right now,” Diaz wrote back to one person, declining to be more specific.

A significant portion of the comments under her video came from fans who wanted to let her know that she was on their minds.

One viewer wrote: “I can’t get over all the love in these comments.” What a testament to your influence on this small part of the internet, Yolanda. Sending you and Zachary so much love.’

Another person said: “I don’t know what I missed, but I pray that you have the time and space to process whatever this is and find peace at the other end, no matter how long it is.” lasts.”

The video received significantly more engagement compared to other clips on her TikTok account, reaching nearly 13 million views at the time of writing.

That same day, her brother Jesus Diaz posted a lighthearted video saying, “Life is worth living” while cooking tortillas in a pan.

But her disturbing clip, released Wednesday, wasn’t the first to suggest something was wrong.

She said her anxiety was so bad that she scratched her face – which she showed in the video.

The influencer said she thinks it’s important to make sure you can grieve with your partner as grieving is messy – meaning the couple are currently experiencing their first loss.

Underneath that video, fans speculated whether the grief she was referring to was about her mother — who Yolanda posted a video of her in the hospital on July 13 for an unspecified reason.

One viewer wrote: “In the first year of our marriage my mother passed away from cancer. “Having a spouse who can support you through all of these emotions and fears can make a huge difference and I am so grateful.”

Another wrote: “I hope your mom and family are well. “Grief is a monster and my marriage is the only thing that has saved me in my darkest moments.”

But not all fans are satisfied with the lack of explanation from Yolanda.

In a Reddit thread, some dismayed followers expressed their frustration at being told something was wrong but being left in the dark.

One person wrote: “Ugh, thanks for posting that.” She’s been annoying me for a few months now. In her comments, she also said, “It’s not my story I want to tell.” Well, it looks like you want to tell it.”

Another wrote: “I really don’t like it when people are reserved about things like this. “Like they’re competing for views.”
