Ladygunn Magazine published a cover story by JoJo on Monday (September 23), in which the 21-year-old starlet appeared in various gender-bending, kitschy looks.
But one particular ensemble caught people’s attention. In some photos, JoJo posed with a rhinestone-encrusted chest armor designed by Kyle Farmery of Sparkyle Studio, which was shaped like a male torso with a subtle six-pack.
The lower half of her ensemble matched the breastplate and consisted of a bold, sculptural bulge encrusted with rhinestones.

The daring look, designed by the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Phil Gomez, garnered many divided opinions, as Instagram User commented: “No hate, I’m honestly just confused.”
Someone commented: “I actually don’t like this at all.”

According to Sparkly StudioKyle Farmery’s New York City-based design studio specializes in custom rhinestone embellishments on a made-to-order basis on “anything you want, including clothing, home items, accessories, shoes, bags and more,” according to the official website.
He continued: “You dream about it and we can bring it to life.”
During her interview JoJo talked about her full-time job as a famous person after “years of radiating glamour and building parasocial relationships with the internet.”

According to the interview JoJo has gotten used to looking over her shoulder and sending a quick selfie to her fans and has now forgotten what it’s like to be in public without people staring.
She told Ladygunn Magazine: “I’m definitely good at distancing myself. That’s definitely a special talent. No matter what moment I’m in, I’m there for that moment.

“But when it’s done, I’m out. You know what I mean? That’s a skill I’ve learned over the years and it’s helped me.”
