While outfits from the Telluride Film Festival make chunky boots and cozy fall clothes increasingly appealing, the 28-year-old actress reminds us that September has only just begun. If you’re in Los Angeles like Z and her boyfriend Tom Holland, that means you’ve got at least another month of high temperatures (if not more) ahead of you.

But don’t worry, Zendaya just proved that it’s possible to elevate a simple tank top and shorts by using unexpected proportions and seasonless accessories. While out and about with Holland in Calabasas, euphoria The star combined a simple white ribbed tank top with wide navy blue shorts, also called culottes.
