The Stagecoach Festival in California was already considered more exciting than its sister festival Coachella last spring, and that could be the case again in 2025, as the annual desert festival has now announced a lineup that includes some of the biggest names in the mainstream country scene, but also some well-known personalities from outside California’s borders.

Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll and Luke Combs will headline the three-day festival, which takes place April 25-27 in Indio, California. Supporting performances by pop superstar Lana Del Rey, renegade Sturgill Simpson and current chart-topper Shaboozey are also expected to draw interest from the wider world beyond typical country fans.

Bryan is undoubtedly an important signing for Stagecoach, as he has been one of the hottest artists across all genres over the past few years, playing both stadiums and arenas and only occasionally appearing at country festivals. It could be one of his only live performances in 2025, with the artist tweeting: “I wasn’t planning on playing next year but that was confirmed a long time ago. SO EXCITED AND THANKS FOR HAVING US, STAGECOACH.”

Del Rey’s intentions in the country music field continue to give rise to speculation. For example, she has indicated that her album project “Lasso”, which is more country-oriented, has not yet been officially announced.

Other country hits on the program include Dasha, Brothers Osborne, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde, Tucker Wetmore and Midland.

Combs is the only one of the three headliners to have headlined the festival before, headlining Stagecoach 2022. Bryan has never played Stagecoach before. Jelly Roll moves into a top slot after opening last spring.

Shaboozey also played Stagecoach this year, albeit in two performances way back in the bill, wowing festivalgoers before his breakout hit became anywhere near as ubiquitous as it would become. In 2025, he’s the fifth act announced for Saturday night… a bill likely worked out before “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for weeks and became indisputably one of the biggest hits of the year in any format. One could argue that a headlining slot might not even have been inappropriate for him at this point, even if that may seem a little premature in his still-young career.

Del Rey, on the other hand, is making an opening appearance at Stagecoach after headlining the Coachella festival, which is held at the same venue, last spring. If she does indeed plan to release a country album in 2025, using Stagecoach as a base would put her in the footsteps of Post Malone, who played a well-received country set at Stagecoach in 2024 in the lead-up to his hugely successful debut country album.

As always, the festival looks beyond country music for some perhaps surprising new additions, and this year’s offering includes sets from Nelly, Sammy Hagar, the Backstreet Boys, Creed, Goo Goo Dolls and T-Pain.

Sierra Ferrell will lead the roots music group. Veteran country artists in the lineup include Crystal Gayle and Tracy Lawrence. Koe Wetzel joins Bryan and Simpson in the group of rougher artists who are identified with country but have found success outside the radiosphere.

Passes go on sale Friday at 11:00 a.m. PT at stagecoachfestival.com.
