“Like a child on the street” – Palmer’s form embodies the “happy” Chelseapublished at 4:05 p.m. British Summer Time

Enzo Maresca is still just starting out at Chelsea, but I think he will win over the fans.

Chelsea is a team that consists of many young players, but still has a lot of experience. A lot of money was spent – people will always talk about that and the long contracts – which increased the pressure a bit.

The Blues have only lost to Manchester City this season and are playing really well and adapting to Maresca’s style. This takes time as it is a process and therefore patience is required. It is important that the players accept his goals at the club and look happy.

There will always be room for improvement, especially with such a young team, but the fact that they have started well means that Maresca has lost media attention.

This has taken the pressure off the players and shows that they now want to play with freedom and confidence.

And of course it helps when you have Cole Palmer by your side.

He still scored over 20 goals in a struggling Chelsea team last season and has started this season right where he left off.

Palmer is probably the most in-form player in the Premier League at the moment and the way he plays the game is like a kid on the street. He just feels so comfortable on the ball.

Maresca has found him a position that gets the best out of him and the players around him really trust him. This gives him the confidence to express himself and his goals speak for his quality.
