XDefiant Season 2 kicked off with a new Highwaymen faction, a unique map and the introduction of the highly anticipated Bomb Mode. It wouldn’t be a new season without the debut of new weapons waiting to be unlocked.

Already, XDefiant has a diverse loot pool as there is something to suit every play style. The latest weapons continue this trend while also providing a much-needed improvement to the meta.

Start weapon grinding

Three new weapons have found their way into the XDefiant Collection and they are all unlocked through the Season 2 Battle Pass.

The first weapon is the PP-19 submachine gun, which is similar to the Bizon. Even though the rate of fire is low, the weapon is powerful and the recoil can be tamed with the various attachments you get as you roam the battlefield. Add the PP-19 to your loadouts when you reach Tier 20 of the Battle Pass.

Another close combat option bursting onto the scene is the SPAS-12, an iconic semi-automatic shotgun. His firepower in XDefiant is unsurpassed, especially at short distances. However, the handling and mobility are rather slower. The SPAS-12 becomes available when you reach Battle Pass Tier 50.

Light machine gun fans can finally wreak havoc with the L86. Unlike a traditional light machine gun, the L86 is quick to reload and has a significant degree of mobility. However, the biggest disadvantage is that the damage is minimal. The L86 is yours when you reach level 80 of the Battle Pass.

Although most rewards require you to purchase the Battle Pass to obtain them, every new weapon is included XDefiant Season 2 will be unlocked for free via the Battle Pass. This means you don’t need to buy the Battle Pass to get the new weapons, as the tiers they’re in are free.

Chances are these are the only weapons that will make it into the game in Season 2. If that changes, we will keep you updated with the latest additions.
