Work progresses on SR 211 in Barrow County, traffic detour to occur August 19 – Your Local News

Construction on SR 211 at Pinot Noir and Tuscany Drive will continue with the opening of the two roundabouts

The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced that the Georgia Department of Transportation and contractor CMES will shift traffic westbound on State Route 211 beginning at the I-85 bridge toward Tuscany Drive. Traffic will shift motorists to the roundabouts and temporary lanes while permanent full-depth and drainage construction is performed. Traffic on the I-85 exit ramp will also be shifted and the right-turn lane will be closed. Traffic shifts will occur on Monday, August 19, 2024.

This operation will impact traffic on SR 211. Motorists are asked to expect delays. Consider alternate routes.
