Work on the Snake River Bridge will take place during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday
WILSON, Wyoming – Attention night drivers! Crossing the Snake River Bridge is restricted this week.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced Monday that work on the Snake River Bridge will be conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, August 20 and 21, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
WYDOT and Ames Construction crews will install road signs in this area. Due to space constraints near the bridge, the eastbound lane will be closed for the work and alternating one-way traffic will be directed by traffic controllers.
“Teton County still experiences traffic congestion during the summer, so drivers are asked to plan their trips accordingly and obey all road signs, traffic controls and closures,” WYDOT said in a press release.
