OTTAWA, KS – The 2024 KCAC Women’s Soccer Virtual Media Day was held on Wednesday, August 14. The Ottawa University women’s team finished third in the KCAC Coaches Poll behind Oklahoma Wesleyan and Friends.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University led the poll with 169 points and thirteen first-place finishes. Friends University came in second with 156 points and the last first-place finish. Ottawa, Kansas Wesleyan University and the University of Saint Mary rounded out the top five with 133, 125 and 124 points, respectively.
The Braves open their 2024 season on Friday, August 30, hosting Baker University at AdventHealth Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Conference play begins at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth.
