WASHINGTON, DC – The University of Richmond women’s soccer team was ranked 11th.^th in the 2024 Atlantic 10 Conference Preseason Poll, which was announced by league headquarters on Wednesday.

Reigning A-10 champion Saint Louis secured the top spot with all 15 votes, while Dayton and VCU took the top three spots. Fordham was voted just ahead of Richmond at No. 10 and St. Bonaventure took 12th.

Head Coach Adam Denton begins his second season at the helm of the Spiders in 2024. He welcomes seven graduate transfers to the squad as well as nine newcomers. Denton was also named Kiley Fitzgerald, Elle Dziadzio, Gwen Howell And JoJo McShane as captains for 2024.
