The Bears were also named the top Ivy League program in the rankings, with Princeton coming in at 40th and Harvard coming in at 46th.
The rankings are based on their average position in the season-ending rankings. The rankings are based on a combination of the latest United Soccer Coaches Polls and each season’s Rating Percentage Index (RPI), with bonuses awarded for qualifying for the NCAA Tournament and College Cup wins.
The RPI measures each team’s performance weighted toward the strength of its schedule, with wins over strong opponents playing a key role.
