Women’s golf publishes fall program 2024

CLINTON, SC – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team has announced its fall 2024 schedule. The Blue Hose will compete in five tournaments this upcoming season, including two invitational tournaments the program has never competed in before.

“The women’s golf team is very excited about the upcoming season,” said Thomas Addison, Presbyterian’s director of golf. “While the program is in a transition period following the departure of Coach Covar, the athletic department is working together to make the start of this year as smooth as possible. I have high expectations for the women’s performance both on and off the course. We look forward to a fantastic 2024-25 season for the PC women’s golf program.”

All six of last season’s key players return to the team and a new face is added to the Blue Hose family. Freshmen Sloane Spessard will make her collegiate debut at Presbyterian College’s first tournament this fall.

The team officially kicks off the fall campaign with a short trip to Clemson, SC, where they will compete in the Clemson Invitational for the first time on August 26th.

In September, the Blue Hose will head to Alamance, NC to compete in the Elon Invitational on September 16 and 17. They’ll be back in action just a week later, making their debut at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational in Asheboro, NC on September 23 and 24.

Later in the season, the team will participate in the Terrier Intercollegiate in Spartanburg, SC on October 21 and 22.

Finally, Presbyterian will close out the fall season with the Big South Preview, which will take place on Fripp Island, SC, November 1-3. This event will give the Blue Hose the opportunity to compete against other teams in the league.
