HU wants to remain undefeated in this young season (1-0-1).
On Monday (August 19), the Northeast Conference (NEC) unveiled its weekly awards, in which the second-grader Mimi Richards (Silver Spring, Md.) was named the league’s Player of the Week. She leads the NEC with four points this season.
The Bisons are expected to finish third in the preseason, led by longtime head coach Brent Leibawho is entering his 15th year.

George Mason is looking for its first win of the season (0-1-1).
In their last game, the Patriots tied Campbell 3-3, with the game led by Katelyn O’Donnell and Josie Stockett, who both scored in the tie.
Aaron Brunner begins his first season at the helm after winning a national championship as an assistant coach with Florida State.

On Sunday (August 18), despite several chances, the Bison played a 0-0 draw with their rival Hampton in Norfolk, Virginia.
