New York Liberty News
Expected lineup: Courtney Vandersloot, Sabrina Ionescu, Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones
Liberty and Wings will meet for the fourth time in less than a month and the second time in three days. Liberty won the previous three games by a combined 42 points and none of their starters played more than 28 minutes on Tuesday.
Before the last game, coach Brondello indicated that she would not overwhelm her players while trying to maintain the top position in the league:
“It’s important for us to keep our No. 1 spot and play good basketball. We haven’t played that well the last few games … but (as far as rotations go) I’ve tried not to overwhelm anyone – the roles don’t change, it’s just about the minutes.”
