Will Ospreay: Ricochet has to work for a chance at the AEW International Championship
Will Ospreay comments on Ricochet’s arrival at AEW.
Will Ospreay won the AEW International Championship at AEW All In by defeating MJF. Earlier in the evening, Ricochet made his AEW debut by participating in the AEW Casino Gauntlet.
Ospreay and Ricochet have been linked since NJPW Best Of The Super Junior XXIII in 2016.
At the press conference after the show “AEW All In”, Ospreay was asked if Ricochet would possibly challenge for the AEW International Championship.
“The man has to work hard for it though. There’s a long list of people he has to beat before he can challenge the International Champion. It’s been eight years since that Best of Super Juniors match and we’ve both gone our separate ways. We’ve both done good work. Now he’s under that microscope. Maybe, just maybe, all those times I challenged him to see if he had any skills. He showed himself. I’d love to see what he’ll do in AEW. I’m excited and really happy for him.” said Osprey.
