“When you go somewhere and come back thinking you’re the GOAT, and then come back and try to show you’re not good enough, sometimes the reaction is justified,” Said Lashema Thomas.
“Yeah, yeah, they’re going to boo him again because he hasn’t done anything new since he left or since this situation to change anything. I don’t think they should boo him, but they will boo him.” Said Deontae Hall.
“Well, he’s an opponent, and since he’s an opponent, we’re going to do what we think is necessary to cheer on our team.” Said Larry Polk.
But not all fans share this opinion.
“They got everything out of their system last year and proved that we are the better team. Just like that.” Said Demarkus Ayler.
Stafford’s wife, Kelly, said on a recent episode of her podcast that she would not attend the game for mental health reasons after she and her daughters were booed during last year’s playoff game.
“I understand that you are concerned about keeping your children safe. That is always your top priority as a parent. But you also should have known what everything looked like if you knew how your husband left us.” Said Thomas.
“Some things she said in the media before have caused some people to have a problem with her. And if she doesn’t come, it’s okay,” Polk added.
