Will a Liberty Walk widebody kit work on a Tesla Model 3?

Liberty Walk says “enough” with the GT-Rs and turns its attention to Tesla’s bestseller

Will a Liberty Walk widebody kit work on a Tesla Model 3?

  • Liberty Walk has just released a new body kit for the Tesla Model 3.
  • It costs $7,920 before shipping and comes with four main components.
  • It is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic and is available now.

Most Tesla models have one thing in common: their understated, unobtrusive design. Even the most powerful and high-performance variants look almost identical to the base models. Now Liberty Walk offers Tesla Model 3 owners a way to really stand out from the crowd.

The LB E Tesla Model 3 body kit consists of four main components. These include a front spoiler, a ducktail wing for the rear, a rear diffuser and side diffusers. The kit costs $6,270. However, if you are interested in the super-wide fender flares in the pictures here, you will have to opt for the LB E Works Tesla Model 3 kit.

It comes with everything mentioned, but with the addition of fenders, and costs $7,920. However, note a few things about these prices. First, shipping is not included. Liberty Walk also doesn’t offer an online shipping calculator, so you won’t know what it might cost to actually have one of these vehicles delivered to your door.

Second, Liberty Works also has no information on the suspension modifications and wheels used on this demo car, meaning you’ll have to source your own components if you want to achieve the solid stance shown here.

Liberty Walk specifically notes that the kit is made from glass-reinforced plastic (FRP), which could indicate a future option for a different material, possibly carbon fiber. Additionally, with most of these components, buyers have the freedom to choose from an à la carte menu.

The ducktail wing is the cheapest option at $990. The rear diffuser and side diffusers are $1,650 each. Finally, the front half splitter alone is $1,980. This means that for now, the fenders are only available with the entire kit.

While there are many body kits available for Teslas, Liberty Walk is a well-known player in this space. The company has built similar kits for the Ferrari F8 Tributo, the Lamborghini Countach, and even the Nissan GT-R.
