The MLB postseason is here and the Yankees can watch the first few games on TV as they await their opponent in the Royals/Orioles matchup in the ALDS this weekend. However, there is much more than just this game: four duels take place throughout the day, possibly lasting three days in a row. Stay tuned folks, it’s time to see where this goes.

While the Yankees don’t have any game action to cover yet, we’ve been preparing for the start of the playoffs. Jeremy recaps the wild day where the Mets and Braves had to make a last-minute dance to get us started, and then Andrew brings you our staff predictions for the postseason. Then we look at more playoff profiles, with Jeff, Smith and Estevão taking the spotlight on the Tigers, Mets and Braves. Jeff also has the latest chapter of the 1999 diary, which details the start of the Bombers’ final regular season series of that year.

2. Will the Mets and Braves roll hot into the Wild Card after their doubleheader yesterday, or will they stumble out of the gates after the last-minute trip?
