Why the SmackDown Women’s Division is facing radical change, more quick insights from WWE and AEW | News, results, highlights, stats and rumors

On Friday’s SmackDown, it became clear that Michin could be first in line to challenge for Nia Jax’s newly won WWE Women’s Championship. A rematch with Bayley, perhaps at Bash in Berlin or at Bad Blood, is also within the realm of possibility.

The bigger feud that fans should pay attention to is between Jax and a returning Charlotte Flair.

The Queen vs. Queen of the Ring 2024 writes itself in many ways. Her importance to the division is unmatched, and as such, Flair should be the one Jax’s reign should be centered around, regardless of whether she is the one to take the title from her or not.

Flair’s impending return will also negatively impact the timing of Tiffany Stratton cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase, as well as the upcoming program between Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

Flair vs. Stratton could easily be the WrestleMania match for the WWE Women’s Championship, while Flair vs. Belair is a dream feud we haven’t seen yet. Bayley objecting to Flair being pushed right back into title contention is another subplot to keep an eye on.

SmackDown’s women’s division is already in good shape, but Flair’s return sooner rather than later will make things infinitely more interesting.
