Gahagen previously worked for Pegula Sports and Entertainment, Pegula’s parents’ company. According to People, he joined the company in 2013 and has held various positions over the years, including marketing manager, digital advertising and promotions coordinator, and director of corporate development.

The tennis star’s husband left the company in 2023, the same time Pegula Sports and Entertainment was dissolved. According to Gahagen’s LinkedIn, he now works as a managing partner for Agarwood Wealth and Dragos Capital.
