Arch Manning is currently sitting behind Texas Longhorns starting quarterback Quinn Ewers, but the 19-year-old quarterback is already a household name thanks to his name.
Arch Manning’s father is Cooper Manningthe brother of famous former NFL quarterbacks Peyton Manning And Eli Manning.
The patriarch of the family is Archie Manning — Arch’s grandfather — who with his wife Olivia had three sons — Cooper, Peyton and Eli. This makes Peyton and Eli Arch’s uncles.
All three sons were star football players at the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Peyton and Eli as quarterbacks and Cooper as a wide receiver. After high school, Cooper was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, which ended his football career before he had the chance to play college football at Ole Miss.
Peyton and Eli later played in the NFL and each won two Super Bowls. Peyton won titles with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos, and Eli won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants.
Football fans have high expectations for Arch because of his family lineage. However, he is still a backup player in Texas and the young quarterback will not be eligible for the NFL Draft until 2026 at the earliest. So Arch still has plenty of time to write his own football history with the support of his father Cooper.
