Alexis LorenzoA woman from Deltona, Florida, has gone viral on social media for documenting and sharing her health condition while undergoing treatment at UCI Medical Center in Orange, California. Lorenze claims on TikTok and Facebook that she was given vaccinations for meningitis, pneumonia and tetanus at UCI Medical Center, which caused a reaction.

Lorenze and her father, Todd Lorenze, have been documenting her condition on social media. She has been posting regular updates on TikTok and Facebook, while her father has been posting about it on Facebook. The photos and videos show dark red marks all over her body.

Alexis Lorenze’s claims

According to her, she suffers from a blood disorder and went to UCI Medical Center for a blood transfusion. She claimed the transfusion helped, but she was not 100% recovered. Afterward, she claimed, doctors told her that in order for the transfusion to be fully effective, she needed to be up to date with her vaccinations.

She then received three vaccinations against meningitis, pneumonia and tetanus and began to react. She claims the hospital was responsible for the sudden deterioration of her condition. In one of the videos, she said she called a lawyer and documented her condition.

The father-daughter duo claim that since she began documenting her condition, the hospital has moved her to a small room without a bed for her sister, who cares for her. On Tuesday (September 17), Todd Lorenze posted on Facebook that Alexis would be transferred to another hospital the next day.

UCI Medical Center, located on City Drive South in Orange, California, is the only academic health system in Orange County. It offers the region’s only Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma centers. The center also features a comprehensive cancer center and a regional burn unit.
