Now that Love is blind is set across the pond and we’re just one episode away from finding out which engaged couples will be saying “I do” at the altar in The Pods. Will it be everything we hoped it would be?
The original Love makes you blind became one of Netflix’s best-rated series with more than 30 million views per season. Like its US predecessor Love is blind takes 30 singles and puts them in rooms called “The Pods” that block one person’s view of the other. The two singles then get to know each other in detailed conversations and take turns throughout the day. When they have found their perfect partner, one of them proposes to her – without even seeing each other.
After the proposal, the couples meet in person for the first time and go on holiday (in this case to the UK, to Corfu). They also move in together and get to know each other’s families. Ultimately, it all comes down to whether or not they confess their love to each other at an extravagant wedding.

Bobby and Jasmine
Status: Still together (uncertain)
They’ve overcome the biggest hurdles of getting to know each other’s parents and getting to know each other’s social media presence outside of The Pods. “I want to be your safe place where you can tell me anything that’s on your mind,” she tells him on the show. “You’re an extraordinary guy.”
Bobby and Jasmine really seemed to be made for each other after he proposed to her. With clear communication and care, it could look like a perfect couple. But it’s surprising to learn that the two don’t follow each other on Instagram. It’s unclear if they made it to the altar, so we can assume they could be on good terms, we just don’t know.

Ollie and Demi
Status: Still together (unclear)
Ollie and Demi hit it off straight away in The Pods and seem to be getting on well after the show as they still follow each other on Instagram. A real connection developed between Demi and Ollie. Demi spoke openly about her endometriosis, while Ollie told Demi he has ADHD after hiding it from many people.
In the preview for the wedding episode, Demi reveals to her friends that she’s thinking about getting married. “Is it a ‘I do’ or a ‘I do but not now?'” she asks. Ollie, meanwhile, may have other feelings that aren’t romantic, perhaps thinking they’re better off as friends.

Tom and Mary
Status: Still together (unclear)
After being caught in a twisted love triangle, Tom proposed to Maria after also having a sizzling relationship with Natasha. Tom and Maria seemed to hit it off as they headed to Corfu and set the mood with all their public displays of affection.
In the wedding preview in the next episode, Tom admits: “Maria would be a great match for me. There’s no doubt about that.” Maria cried before the wedding and wished her father was there to witness this special moment, so it’s pretty optimistic that the two did get married after all.

Benaiah & Nicole
Status: Still together (unclear)
Benaiah and Nicole had a very strong connection in The Pods after she broke up with Sam. The two shared a love of spirituality and travel, and Benaiah proposed to her after episode 5. However, Benaiah’s mother had some reservations about their relationship.
In the preview of the wedding episode, Benaiah was seen crying as Nicole walked down the aisle and asked if it was the right or wrong decision. The two don’t follow each other on Instagram, so it may still be uncertain for them.

Sabrina & Steven
Status: Still together (unclear)
A healthy relationship produced one of the first couples to make it out of The Pods together. They seemed to have a lovely time in Corfu and moved into their apartment together. Despite having a great time meeting Sabrina’s family in Belfast, Sabrina and Steven do not follow each other on Instagram.

Catherine and Freddie
Status: Still together (unclear)
Catherine and Freddie were an unusual couple to jump out of the pods as they both seemed to have strong bonds with other people. Although the pair had very bad problems during their time in Corfu and when they moved in together, the biggest shock came when Freddie asked Catherine for a prenuptial agreement.
Freddie’s sister asks him if he really wants this for himself, and he looks pretty serious when he meets Cat in the hallway in the preview episode. Meanwhile, Cat confesses that she’s never met a man like him.
