Deftones have just announced a 2025 North American tour with special guests The Mars Volta and Fleshwater, which will see the trio perform in arenas across America from February to April.
Towards the end of their nationwide tour, they will perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Thursday, April 3.
The 24-date tour will be the band’s first official tour since spring 2022. In the two years since their last outing, they have headlined several festivals, played alongside System of a Down in San Francisco, and hosted their own annual Dia de los Deftones festival in San Diego several times.
This year’s edition of Dia de los Deftones is set to take place at Petco Park on Saturday, November 2. Notable acts joining the group this time around include British rockers Idles, emo icons Sunny Day Real Estate (who will perform their entire 1994 debut album, “Diary”), experimental noise band Health, hip-hop duo Paris Texas and indie veterans Duster.
“It’s like putting together a mixtape, but it’s a live show and you can bring different artists together in a live setting… It’s a well-rounded event that, even if we weren’t performing there, we would love to go to as music fans,” Moreno told the San Diego Union-Tribune ahead of the inaugural festival.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Deftones shows on websites like Vivid Seats, with the official on-sale launch for the 2025 North American tour being Friday, September 20.
