Where is College GameDay this week? Schedule, location, TV and guest picks for Week 0

It’s that time of year.

College football is just days away from its return, and with that return will come College Game Day– the ESPN studio show that has defined generations of fans of the sport. The venerable program is gearing up for its 38th season, which will also be one of the most important in college football history.

In keeping with the massive changes in sport in 2024, College Game Day will add a renowned panelist in recently retired Alabama coach Nick Saban. At its core, however, the show is expected to remain as it always has been despite a litany of personnel changes in the past.

Here you will find everything you need to know about College Game Day‘s season opening episode.

College Game Day will air on Saturday, August 24th at 9am ET or 2pm Dublin, Ireland time (more on that in a moment). The show has aired at 9am ET since 2010; previously, the show began at 10am

The show will air Saturday from Dublin, Ireland – its first broadcast outside the United States – and will feature the only meeting of the Power Four teams in “Week Zero” – the Aer Lingus Classic between No. 10 Florida State and Georgia Tech at Aviva Stadium, home of the Irish rugby and soccer teams.

This is the Seminoles’ 37th appearance on the show and the Yellow Jackets’ seventh. The series between the two teams was previously shown on College Game Day in 1998, when No. 5 Florida State swept No. 23 Georgia Tech 34-7 in Atlanta.

College Game Day can be seen on both ESPN and ESPNU.

The first celebrity guest pick of the season is Sheamus, a veteran WWE wrestler from Dublin.
