    Where is College GameDay this week? Location, schedule

    Week 5 of the college football season is here and ESPN’s “College GameDay” is set for a clash between titans.

    No. 4 Alabama (3-0) hosts No. 1 Georgia (3-0, 1-0 SEC) on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. This will be the first time the two programs have met in a game other than the SEC Championship or National Championship game since 2020, when the Crimson Tide defeated the Bulldogs 41-24 at home.

    The game represents the first real test for coach Kalen DeBoer, who is tasked with leading one of the most successful programs in recent memory in his first season after taking over for the retiring Nick Saban. DeBoer hopes to continue Saban’s dominance at Georgia, as the legendary coach has defeated the Bulldogs in five of the last six games at Alabama.

    The game is certainly one of the top matchups of the entire regular season, and the winner should firmly establish themselves as one of college football’s top national championship contenders.

    Where is College GameDay this week?

    “College GameDay,” ESPN’s pregame show that airs live from a game’s website each week, travels to Tuscaloosa in Week 5 for a matchup between top-five power programs.

    The show, consisting of Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and – starting with the 2024 college football season – Nick Saban, came to Tuscaloosa twice last season. It followed Alabama’s loss to Texas on September 9th and its win over LSU on November 4th. “GameDay” was also at the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta for the Crimson Tide’s victory over Georgia.

    Alabama has a record of 19-12 as a “GameDay” host.
