The game will also be broadcast on ABC. Kelce will provide commentary on a pregame and halftime panel moderated by Scott Van Pelt. The pregame show will also feature analysts Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears and reporters Adam Schefter and Michelle Beisner-Buck. In a recent TV spot, Kelce introduces the show at a high decibel level.

Kelce will also be part of ESPN’s studio team for the Super Wild Card and Divisional Round playoff games. Who is Jason Kelce?

Kelce played 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles after being selected by the team in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He is widely considered one of the best offensive linemen in Eagles history and one of the best centers of all time.

Kelce was named All-Pro six times, including each of the last three years. It was an unlikely career considering Kelce’s beginnings – he attended the University of Cincinnati – and his relatively small size for the position at 6’3″ and under 290 pounds.

Kelce spent most of his career in a position of respect among Eagles fans but was relatively unknown on the national sports landscape. That changed in the fall of his career, when Kelce launched a podcast with his brother Travis, an All-Pro tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, in 2022 and starred in an Amazon documentary about his life in 2023. His fame reached a new level during the 2023 football season when his brother publicly began dating Taylor Swift.

What other media roles does Jason Kelce have?

In addition to his appearance on Monday Night Football, Kelce continues to co-host the podcast New Heights with Travis. Amazon’s Wondery recently acquired the podcast for more than $100 million.

He also has endorsement deals with Buffalo Wild Wings, Wawa, Campbell’s Soup, and others.

Will Jason Kelce cover a Philadelphia Eagles game?

Kelce is scheduled to appear on ESPN’s Monday Night Football coverage when the Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons for their first home game on Sept. 16. ESPN will broadcast live from Xfinity Live, the sports bar adjacent to Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles’ stadium.

“It’s a bold decision,” Kelce told the Inquirer. “It’s going to be crazy. I really don’t know how it’s going to work out.”
