Why are there two National Sons Days?

The first National Sons Day takes place on March 4th every year. According to The Economic Times, Jill Nico declared March 2018 as National Sons Day to encourage meaningful conversations between parents and sons.

Some blame social media for the doubling as a quasi-holiday, as the two dates emerged in the age of influencers, some of whom chose March to celebrate while others chose September.
