The Hallmark favorite also made a teaser in which some “familiar faces” might be invited to his upcoming wedding

Kevin McGarry may put on a great show for his wedding guests!

The When the heart calls star, 39, shared during an interview with Entertainment tonight that he might jump on stage and sing at his upcoming wedding with co-star Kayla Wallace.

“There’s always a chance,” the actor said. “I assume there’s champagne being served, so… there’s a chance that could happen. And with Kayla, too.”

When ETWhen Deidre Behar asked if the musical couple could perform something together at the wedding, McGarry replied, “We always play. We’ll make music together.”

“That’s how it all started,” he continued. “We worked together… we do that all the time. So who knows? We don’t have anything planned at the moment.”

McGarry also noted – in addition to the fact that he plans to wear a classic tuxedo for the ceremony – that he prefers personal vows to traditional ones.

“You know you have an audience. You have to include a joke or two,” he said.

However, when it comes to performing a choreographed dance, McGarry foregoes it. “I live my life freely, according to your ideas,” the actor said. “Choreographed, that’s just too much pressure. Yeah, I just have to be in the moment.”

As for the location of the wedding ceremony, Heartland Alum said he and his fiancée have “talked about overseas weddings,” but he believes “it will stay in Canada” since her family is there.

As for his post-wedding plans, the actor admitted that “we would both rather explore a city” than go on a tropical vacation.

“Yeah, we’ve done the tropical stuff and it’s great,” he said. “(But) we both get nervous sitting around for three days.”

“I want to learn and eat different dishes and talk to different people,” he added.

As for other wedding details like the cake or whether there will be a first look at the couple before the ceremony, McGarry emphasized that it is “whatever Kayla wants.”

He also shared that there will be some familiar faces on his and Wallace’s guest list, including some of their When the heart calls co-stars.

“It will be intimate, but I know there will be some familiar faces,” he teased.
