What you should know if Helene threatens Tennessee

Thousands will flock to Franklin’s The Park at Harlinsdale Farm on September 28th and 29th for the 10th annual Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival. At the same time, Hurricane Helene is raging across the Gulf of Mexico, bringing rain and storms to the Middle Tennessee region this weekend.

Organizers made no adjustments to the weekend schedule as of midday Wednesday and sent a message through the festival app that they would monitor the weather and post updates through the app and social media. The message continued: “Plan ahead for it to be wet. The current weather forecast calls for the possibility of showers but a 100 percent chance of fun.”
