After a embarrassing defeat against the Atlanta Falcons In Week 2, the Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) will try to turn things around on Sunday when they play against the New Orleans Saints (2-0).

Eagles injury report

Philadelphia must again do without its star wideout AJ Brown due to a thigh injuryBrown was injured during practice on Friday before Monday night’s game against Atlanta and did not practice all week, the team said.

Third quarterback Tanner McKee, CB Eli Ricks, LB Devin White, G/T Darian Kinnard, G Trevor Keegan and DT Byron Young are also unavailable for action on Sunday.

CJ Gardner-Johnson activated for game against Saints

After added to injury report on Thursday and sitting out practice on Friday, the Eagles announced less than two hours before the game that starting safety CJ Gardner-Johnson would play on Sunday against the Saints, one of his former teams.

Gardner-Johnson, who returned to Philadelphia in the offseason, signed a three-year contract with the team. In two games he recorded a total of 11 tackles and faced some high-class players from the Green Bay Packers and : Atlanta Falcons.

Saints go into Week 3 with 2-0

New Orleans opened its season with a 47-10 win over the Carolina Panthers, followed by a 44-19 win over the Cowboys on their home turf in Dallas – a welcome result for die-hard Philly fans.

As of Friday, the Saints had twelve players on their injury list. Starting defensive tackle Khalen Saunders is out, while LB D’Marco Jackson, TE Taysom Hill, tackle Landon Young, safety Will Harris and wide receiver AT Perry are questionable.
