Wendy’s trolls McDonald’s with $1 Frostys. Here’s why and how to get your copy

Wendy’s is selling its iconic Frostys for just $1 for the rest of September, appearing to make fun of McDonald’s often-broken McFlurry machines.

McDonald’s was not directly mentioned by name in the press release, but the fast food giant was mentioned heavily.

“For nearly 55 years, Wendy’s legendary Frosty has been the go-to sweet treat when fans have cravings while the other guys’ ice cream machines are offline – often for two to three hours at a time,” said a Wendy’s press release .

Wendy’s has also partnered with McBroken.com, a real-time online map that shows where McDonald’s McFlurry machines are currently out of service, to help direct customers to other locations or to a Wendy’s where they can get theirs Instead, you can satisfy your cravings with a Frosty.

How to get a Wendy’s Frosty for $1 in Arizona

Wendy’s Mini Chocolate and Vanilla Frostys are available for $1 at participating locations now through September 30th.

The Republic called several Wendy’s locations in the Phoenix area and all confirmed the offer.
