The “Ice Cream Machine Meltdowns” graphic created by Wendy’s and McBroken shows that Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles suffer the most from frequent outages. Additionally, ice cream machines are mostly out of service during lunch and snack times, with outages lasting between two and three hours.

Thanks to Wendy’s partnership with McBroken, you can not only see the McDonald’s locations with broken ice cream machines on the map, but you can also find your nearest Wendy’s – and buy a small Frosty for just a dollar.
