‘Wedding photos’: Rosie O’Donnell shares a series of heartfelt posts as her son Blake ties the knot with his long-time girlfriend
Another industry couple has walked down the aisle and said “I do”! Rosie O’Donnell’s son Blake O’Donnell, an industry veteran, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Teresa Garofalow Westervelt in a ceremony on Friday evening, August 16.
Mama Rosie shared the happy news on Instagram and posted photos from the beautiful occasion, including a shot of the newlyweds sharing an intimate moment during their first dance.
“The O’Donnells’ first dance,” Rosie captioned the photo, which shows her youngest son in a white jacket and his new wife in a long-sleeved lace wedding dress with a bustle on the back as the couple dance together.
In another photo, the newlyweds are seen kissing as the whole family cheers on the happy moment. The former View host also shared several snaps of their mother-son dance and revealed in the caption that they chose Cyndi Lauper’s 1983 song “Time After Time” as their song.
“When you’re lost you can search and you’ll always find me, our mother-son dance song,” she wrote in one post, adding in another, “So much love.”
Everyone looked stunning in their fine outfits, including Rosie, who seemed to age backwards in her beautiful outfit: she wore a sage green pantsuit with watercolor floral patterns and a white shirt.
Blake and Teresa Garofalo Westervelt have been together for six and a half years, according to an anniversary post on his Instagram account. “Five years ago I slid into your DMs and I’m soooo grateful you didn’t ignore me,” he wrote in 2021. “I’m so lucky to have fallen in love with such an amazing person,” he added. “Happy belated anniversary baby.”
Blake prefers to stay out of the spotlight, although he occasionally appears on Rosie’s Instagram, sometimes with Teresa. Rosie announced her son’s engagement in December 2022, sharing that Blake proposed to Teresa during a Broadway performance of The Phantom of the Opera.
