WEATHER OVERVIEW

After Debby, mostly dry and pleasant weather at the weekend
Debby will exit the Northeast overnight, taking any remaining rain showers with her, setting the stage for a largely dry and pleasant weekend with significantly lower humidity and a pleasant breeze. Saturday will be the brighter day with mostly sunny skies. Sunday will likely be a bit cloudier as slightly colder air aloft allows for the formation of sizable cumulus clouds in the afternoon, particularly over the Adirondacks and in Vermont, where some spotty, unstable showers are possible. Otherwise, dry weather should prevail in most areas on Sunday. The generally pleasant, calm weather will continue into the coming week, with a warming trend after Monday and highs around 27 degrees by midweek.
