BARNSTABLE, MASSACHUSETTS – (HN VIDEO NOTES) – As you will see and hear in the HN video below, Barnstable Police responded to a single-vehicle crash that struck a tree on Mary Dunn Road around 1:30 a.m. this morning. On the way to the scene, the driver’s father told police that his son may have been intoxicated, according to radio transmissions. The young adult male driver sustained a head injury and was eventually transported to Cape Cod Hospital in a Barnstable FD ambulance. According to police radio transmissions, the investigation into the cause of the crash continued at Cape Cod Hospital.
