Warroad man dies in collision between truck and tractor-trailer, two others injured – Grand Forks Herald

ROSEAU COUNTY, Minnesota – A Warroad man was killed in a crash at the intersection of Roseau County Road 12 and 530th Avenue on Tuesday, August 13.

According to an accident report from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, 59-year-old Richard Lee Hasbrouck was driving a 2005 International truck south on 530th Avenue.

At the intersection of the road with County Road 12, Hasbrouck’s vehicle collided with a 1980 International Semi driven by 39-year-old Tyson Emil Lovejoy.

Hasbrouck was killed.

Lovejoy and his passenger, an 11-year-old boy, were taken to Lifecare Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the report, the accident occurred at around 6:09 p.m. Road conditions were described as dry. All those involved were wearing seat belts.
