Warm weather returns for rest of week – Duluth News Tribune

On Wednesday we expect warmer weather to return to the region mid-week. After a possible patchy fog early in the day, winds will remain light and shift from the west on Wednesday afternoon, with sunshine continuing for most of the day. In the afternoon temperatures will return to 24-25 degrees across the region, with some spots on the north coast reaching as low as 25 degrees.

Then on Wednesday evening, lows will only drop to below 10 degrees across much of the region and will remain mild throughout the night, with winds remaining fairly calm. On Thursday we will have another sunny day and with light winds in the afternoon, highs will remain fairly similar to Wednesday, reaching highs of between 25 and 25 degrees across the region.

The mild weather spell is expected to continue through the weekend, but an end is in sight. For the coming week, we’re looking for a low pressure system to move through the region, which could bring with it seasonable temperatures and a brief chance of rain.
