The Virginia Tech Hokies (1-1) seek their second consecutive win as they travel across the Commonwealth to face the Old Dominion Monarchs (0-2).
This is Virginia Tech’s third-ever appearance at SB Ballard Stadium, and the Hokies have lost the first two meetings, including the opening game of the 2022 season. Tech got revenge on the Monarchs last season in Blacksburg.
Old Dominion quarterback Grant Wilson, who started last season at Blacksburg, is questionable for Saturday’s game. If Wilson is unable to play, Colton Joseph will start at quarterback for ODU. Joseph is the type of dual-threat quarterback that has given Virginia Tech’s defense problems over the years.
