Violet Winter Blackdeer got her wings on August 12, 2024.
Violet’s life seems too short to many, but those who knew her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time one lives. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her. Violet lived a full life full of love and excitement, spending every moment with her family. She loved playing with her siblings and sitting in the kitchen while her parents cooked.
Violet leaves behind her parents Catelin and Timothy Blackdeer, three sisters, Jalisa (15), Raelynn (12), Scarlett (4), her brother Isaiah (3), several grandparents and numerous relatives extending from here to all other parts of the country which she has frequently visited.
Violet impacted so many people. Her life should be celebrated. We will miss her every day and she will remain in our hearts with her award-winning smile. She is without a doubt loved and treasured.
The wake will be held on Tuesday, August 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service in Athens, Tennessee. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Please wear purple in honor of Violet.
