Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison is juggling her hectic work schedule with planning her dream wedding to fiancé Ercan Ramadan and the TV star is keeping her fans updated on the preparations for the big day.
Although she said she was looking forward to the wedding, she admitted that she was “a little heartbroken” about one aspect of the ceremony.
Reality star Vicky, 36, and Ercan have been a couple since 2019. He proposed to her in 2022 during a romantic getaway in Dubai. Vicky announced the news on Instagram, sharing a snap of Ercan on one knee in front of Dubai’s beautiful skyline.
As a caption to her post, she wrote: “I choose you, and I will choose you over and over again, without pause, without doubt, in a heartbeat… You will always be you. For our forever @ercan_ram…”
Over the past few months, Vicky hasn’t shied away from sharing the challenges of wedding planning, recently confessing to her fans on social media that she was feeling “drained” after ignoring signs that her body needed a break due to her grueling work schedule.
She even revealed she suspects she has mononucleosis and an infection and abscess in her throat, reports the Mirror. Despite the setbacks in the “out of control” wedding planning, Vicky is excited to marry Ercan in beautiful Puglia, Italy this September. Over 100 family and friends will fly in to witness their special day.
The star is juggling wedding planning with her numerous work projects, including her brand new E4 show ‘Second-Hand Showdown’ and another upcoming two-part special ‘Destination Wedding’.

Speaking to the Mirror about the reality of juggling work and wedding planning, Vicky explained she had “worked hard” to achieve the wedding of her dreams. “Everyone is in the same boat. Weddings are big business. They’re so expensive,” she said, before discussing the impact of the past few years.
“I think as a nation, probably even internationally, people have a desire to make up for lost time, to spend time with friends and family, to have a blast. So, yes, I think the wedding business has absolutely benefited from that. No, there’s no doubt about it.
“So they’re damn expensive. There’s no other word for it. So, yes, I had to work. Everyone has to work. I’m very lucky. I like my job. I’m not exactly in the mines, am I?” Vicky explained.
“I’ve worked hard, but it’s for the wedding of my dreams, you know? So I’m really excited. I’m a little heartbroken every time I say large sums of money are going to be spent.”
The news comes after Vicky said she “couldn’t be more prepared for the wedding” and was ready to start “the next chapter” of her life alongside Ercan.
