Geordie Shore legend Vicky Pattison wowed in a white mini wedding dress at her wedding to her long-time partner Ercan Ramadan.
The couple, who have been together since 2019 and are engaged in 2022, finally tied the knot today in their first wedding ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall.
Vicky, 36, wore a strapless white mini dress and a delicate veil, while Towie star Ercan appeared for the special occasion in a black suit and bow tie with a white rose on the lapel.
On this rainy Saturday afternoon, guests were spotted with umbrellas in their hands, but that couldn’t dampen the mood as confetti was thrown at the happy newlyweds.
Around 150 guests were there to watch the couple tie the knot at the famous London wedding venue. And that’s just the beginning of the celebrations. Towie’s Pete Wicks was also in attendance in a smart black suit.
The happy couple will then fly to Puglia for a second wedding ceremony, which will feature in the upcoming Channel 4 series Vicky Pattison: Destination Wedding.
The wedding ceremony was not without mishaps and various obstacles.
“I knew weddings were big business and like I said, it’s not my first time in this field, but everything is getting more and more expensive. I was really shocked. I don’t want to spend the next 10 years paying it off or remortgaging my house for a wedding,” Vicky told Rock My Wedding ahead of the wedding.
Just yesterday, she shared on social media how her health condition, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, has affected her in the run-up to the big day.
“The week before my wedding, I didn’t want to be that person… you imagine being excited and happy and having little birds putting your dress on… instead, I was depressed, anxious and self-critical, filled with female rage, hopelessness and exhaustion. This is the result of PMDD,” she shared in a series of candid posts.
After expressing her solidarity with everyone else with similar symptoms, she reflected on her wedding day.
She added that she was “determined” that her “thoughts and hormones” would not take away “this moment” from her.
“I’m perhaps a little more sensitive as a bride than I intended… less Cinderella and more Ursula the Sea Witch… but so what?!”
Earlier this year, Vicky was also devastated when her £200,000 engagement ring was stolen during a train journey. She was “utterly distraught” and reported the theft to the police, but the outcome is unknown.
In the run-up to the wedding, the duo celebrated a stag party together in Dubai and the entire event is recounted in the two-part E4 special.
The winner of “I’m a Celebrity” recently said on Instagram: “Ercan and I are so excited to share our journey with E4 viewers.”
“No doubt there will be tears, tantrums and tense moments over table planning. But ultimately, we can’t wait to start this next chapter of our lives surrounded by our incredible friends and family. I’m finally getting my happy ending.”
In the podcast “White Wine Question Time” Vicky also talked about how they chose their Italian travel destination.
“We travelled all over Italy to find the right venue and the right region for us. And we totally fell in love with Puglia.”
“When we booked it about 18 months ago, it was relatively unknown. Then Kim Kardashian came with Dolce and Gabbana for a big fashion show and now everyone knows about it,” she explained.
