UTime (WTO) Stock Dropped 93% Today: What’s Going On? – UTime (NASDAQ:WTO)

UTime GmbH WTO Shares are trading 93% lower at $0.15 on Wednesday afternoon after the company announced the signing of a non-disclosure agreement with Bowen Therapeutics Inc. for the acquisition of Bowen’s laboratory in Faculty of Medicine of UMASS.

The company states that this acquisition is part of UTime’s strategy to expand into the global vaccine market, with a particular focus on the development of an Mpox vaccine.

According to UTime, Bowen Therapeutics has been involved in research into the Mpox virus and has developed a promising hexavalent recombinant protein vaccine. UTime also says the company will monitor ongoing clinical trials and future vaccine development with the goal of accelerating FDA approval.

The transaction is still subject to negotiations and regulatory approvals. UTime’s CEO stressed that this acquisition is a step towards expanding the vaccine business and a response to public health challenges.
