US passenger was kicked off a plane in Florida for wearing an offensive Donald Trump T-shirt with a reference to the Hawk Tuah girl

A Donald Trump supporter claimed he was kicked off a Delta Air Lines flight for wearing a T-shirt with a graphic of the former president making obscene hand gestures and slogans referencing the viral “Hawk Tuah” girl, the New York Post reported.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning on a plane scheduled to take off from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport in Florida. The flight crew received complaints from another passenger about the offensive images on the man’s shirt and asked him to change his clothes. The man turned the shirt inside out for a while.

“The next thing I remember is just before takeoff, a Delta employee comes onto the plane and escorts him off the plane. He had turned his shirt back to the sticker side,” a Reddit user wrote under the video posted on the platform, the New York Post reported.

The T-shirt featured a graphic of former President Donald Trump wearing glasses in the colors of the U.S. flag, and above and below him was text referencing a video circulating online of a girl explaining oral sex.

The video of the incident posted on Reddit has received over 900 upvotes and comments.

“I’m being kicked out because of my shirt,” the man explains as he is escorted off the plane. He also insults a flight attendant.

Although the reaction from a lot of people on Reddit seemed extreme, the airline was perfectly justified in kicking the passenger off the plane. According to Delta Air Lines’ policy, passengers can be kicked off the plane if their “behavior, hygiene, dress or odor pose an unreasonable risk of offending or harassing other passengers,” the New York Post report said.
